I'm looking for some reasonably priced metal pads. And I was looking around and found this site.

http://www.ddraction.com/

does anybody know if this site is any good or where I should be looking?

I've heard for the most part that you shouldn't buy random metal pads. I've heard that the Afterburners are good, and I have a friend who likes his Cobalt Fluxes. (I personally dislike them cause the arrows are all on the same level as the pad, so I can't feel where they are, and once I found the arrows there was a really bad lag problem till he fixed it - so bad it made me fail songs I can AA on the machine.)

I like RedOctane's thick soft pad.

I've had this for about half a year and for the most part I've played exclusively in Heavy mode and it still works perfectly.

Judging that the Guitar Hero controller they sell is a piece of crap, I see no reason to believe that their metal pads would be any better.
